Summer is comming to an end; I can tell from some of the leaves on the trees and seeing alot good progress in my days.
We’re back on track. GJ Peeps.
With the end of the summer in sight we’ve increased our efforts to complete the hardmodes, with great success.
This week we completed two new hardmodes, one which we should’ve been done with weeks ago after a 4% wipe.
We are currently recruiting most classes, especially all kinds of tanks, healing priests and ranged dps.

Today’s raid was an eventful one for the socks.
We’re very happy to say that the Hodir hardmode is now done. We have had two weeks of 3.01/2.55+Flash Freeze-kills, so it was nice to finally get loot for it.

On Mimiron we got our 30th Fragment which resulted in us spending a few wipes on overtime doing “Three Lights in the Darkness”, all this because the GM promptly needed his legendary tonight.

Even though our hardmode progress has slowed down alot during the summer months, we’re still moving forward.
Latest achievement was Heroic: Heartbreaker, server first but quite easy after the nerf.

Should’ve gotten it a week ago, but better late than never.

After being forced to cancel our 25man due to 5-second-lag we went 10man and decided to take down some hardmodes, previously we had mainly focused on getting the ‘Champion of Ulduar’ so everything except Thorim hardmode was new to us.

This means that we only have Mimiron hardmode left before we can start trying Algalon.
On 25man we’ve now killed Yogg-Saron four times and we would consider all easy-modes to be on one-shot farm.
We have attempted a few hardmodes though, mainly increasing the multi-level encounter by one step at a time.
When it comes to the legendary mace our luck so far has been quite average.
For the record we are currently recruiting all ranged dps and priests of the healing variety
After slipping on the finishing line the first week of Ulduar we finally finished the job today at 21:25 and killed Yogg-Saron on Heroic.
Most noticeable thing with the kill was that we only got two portals. The portal team did an amazing job which in combination with good performance from the rest of the raid lead to a kill which was about 4 minutes faster than the enrage which killed us the previous night.

At 03:49 2009-04-24 a small team of bored warriors downed Yogg-Saron on 10man.
Not much to say about the kill apart from that 10man Ulduar is ALOT easier than 25man, doesn’t feel properly scaled tbh.
