Finally! The only boss since Sarth10.3D which required us to wipe in triple digits.
Just in the nick of time aswell, with the nerf comming next week; we’ll always know that we killed him pre-nerf.
Incredibly smooth kill, good job guys!
Today we managed to kill the Sindragosa on 25man and for many of us it’s definitely our new favourite encounter in ICC25, VERY well designed fight with a good balance between player skill and coordination.
The Lich King awaits! :D
Second week of The Crimson Halls we managed to one-shot all wing bosses, including a first kill on Blood Queen Lana’thel, good job guys.
After many weeks of slipping on the finishing line it finally clicked and even with a paladin’s brave attempt to wipe us we still managed to kill Anub without wiping once throughout the instance.
Well deserved server first title/feat of strength/chat spam everyone!
We also killed Putricide.25 for the first time, thus giving us 2 realm firsts within 3 hours. So now we’re really looking forward to the next wing to beat our collective egos back into place again. :D

One year ago there was a total of five characters on this realm who walked around with the guild tag <Striped Socks> and the guild had only existed for a few hours.
These characters were Lithea, Lumlan, Loved, Vhyn(Gramse) and Beg and they were all played by players who had recently split with <Purgatory Afterglow> to pursue a different goal.
Initially we had no idea what this goal was though, but our hunger for raiding caused us to start our recruitment process.
This was very early in this expansion and only one or two people in most guilds had even turned 80.
We did dozens of 5man heroics every day with people who were the most dedicated of their respective guilds. Some of these players liked us and a few of them asked to join our little scrapy insurgency.
This is how we suddenly had a guild capable of doing 10man content, something that we all were longing for, but we wanted more..
We teamed up with another 10man group, consisting of players from the two guilds <Verktygslådan> and <Slackers IRL> and with a coalition of three guilds we entered Naxx25.
Our progress swiftly tied with that of the current top guild on the server, namely <Solo>. The news of our success must’ve spread, because suddenly we had people wanting to join us and as we progressed through Naxx25 the amount of people who wore the SS-tag increased. By the end of it we could almost fill the entire raid ourselves.
Even this early in our history we put in the the extra effort needed and because of a spontaneous raid on a Saturday we managed to burst passed <Solo> and finish off the instance as the first guild on the server.
The guild had existed for 9 days and the rest is history…
It’s been an amazing year and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who’s played a part in making the guild what is today.
A special shout-out goes out <Verktygslådan> and <Slackers IRL>, without you it would’ve been so much harder.

One of our groups did today clear ToC10.hc without any wipes, good job guys.
We had plenty of tries left in Trial of the Grand Crusader when the raid leader disconnected at 93% of our seventh try of the evening.
Reconnected on vent he tried to listen to how it was going while trying to get back in-game.
I could hear people’s voices becomming more stressed as the fight went on and suddenly it came… NERDSCREAMS.
Good job guys, next time I wanna see them die, kthx. =)

We’ve been lazy with updating the front page since the release of the heroic mode of ToC. But now it’s time for an update.
We’ve so far down the first three bosses with good progress on the fourth.
We are quite happy with our current progress and last week we managed to get an achievement which made us quite proud:
We are currently doing 2-3 10man heroic groups in addition to our 25man raids. This week we got this achievement on both our heroic 10mans:
